Construction Management at Risk (CMc) |
| |
The owner has a separate contract with the CM at-Risk and another directly with the designer. The constructor, referred to as the CM at-Risk, typically provides preconstruction services, holds the trade contracts, takes responsibility for the performance for the work, and guarantees the construction costs and schedule. The CM at-Risk also serves as the general contractor assuming the risk of the performance, either by its own crews or by specialty contractors and suppliers. |
