Building a Foundation of Trust Since 1958

For more than 60 years, the traits of hard work, straight talk, owner involvement, and a commitment to exceeding our client’s expectations has led to long-term customer satisfaction. Today, Dean Snyder Construction (DSC) has grown to include DSC Design Group, providing design services, DSC Industrial Group, experts dedicated to design, project management, and construction in the food & beverage processing industry, and Waggoner & Wineinger Architects (WWA), providing architectural services to the public and private sectors in Iowa.

While our roots are in general construction, we’ve developed design and construction expertise in several markets, which include:

• Food & Beverage Processing
• Healthcare

• Pharmaceutical
• Commercial

Whether you are one of our many long-time and multi-project clients, or considering our company for the first time, we hope that you will take a few minutes to look around our site. Should you choose DSC, your final project will exceed your expectations both today and 50 years from now. Check out our project portfolio to see a small sampling of our projects.

Evaluating and choosing a partner for your construction project can be a challenging decision process. Our goal is to make sure that the decision is one you feel good about years after the project is complete. We know you will join us in believing that DSC provides a quality and trusted service that is a step above the rest.

DSC Ranks in at #341 in Top 400 Contractors

Each year, Engineering News-Record (ENR), the leading U.S. publication for the engineering and construction industry, releases its Top 400 Contractors list to rank firms across the country according to annual revenue.  Dean Snyder Construction’s significant growth and exceptional performance in 2016 landed the firm at No. 341.

Engineering News-Record ranks companies according to revenue for construction services performed in the previous year. Contractors listed on this year’s Top 400 generated $366.41 billion in revenue in 2016 – an increase of 6.5 percent from $344.14 billion in 2015. For Dean Snyder Construction, the majority of its growth in 2016 stemmed from projects within the food and beverage processing market in Iowa and the Midwest.
