Vickie Asbe-Snyder is director of the Dean Snyder healthcare division. Before joining DSC, Vickie spent several years in the healthcare field as a nurse, chief operations officer and chief executive officer for medical center facilities. In these roles, she worked closely with the hospital and healthcare departments, physician groups, department heads and governing boards to develop efficient work processes and positive project outcomes.

Our Dean Snyder healthcare division team will work closely with you to navigate the challenging maze of unique certifications, inspections, applications, reimbursement challenges and presentations involved in the planning, design and construction process. Dean Snyder Construction is knowledgeable and experienced in the many special safety and clinical protocol requirements in the healthcare construction field. We understand that the quality of construction can have an impact on the ultimate quality of medical care and patient outcome.

Here are just a few of the many important precautions and procedures we observe when it comes to your healthcare project:
• All safety equipment worn to OSHA and Dean Snyder Construction policies
• Observe all specific hospital or health facilities rules and guidelines
• ICRA policies enforced continuously throughout every project
• DSC safety director on all projects
• Regular, unannounced inspections and reports by independent third party
• All DSC superintendents are trained and certified in first aid and CPR
• Use of HEPA filter vacuums and ventilation when required
• Knowledge of all special needs areas where magnetic tools or cells phones are prohibited
• Prearranged parking and traffic control to minimize existing facility disruption
• Adjustment of work hours to minimize patient and employee inconvenience
• All healthcare administration established rules regarding confidentiality and security are strictly observed
• No smoking or foul language tolerate at any time
• Noise control as dictated by hospital policies
• Patient's rights/privacy respected at all times
