Responsible for performing a wide variety of construction activities requiring little or no experience or independent judgment. Duties may include: digging, spreading and leveling dirt and gravel; lifting, carrying, and holding building materials, tools, and supplies; cleaning tools, equipment, materials, and work areas; mixing, pouring, and spreading concrete, asphalt, or gravel; joining, wrapping, and sealing sections of pipe; performing a variety of routine, non-machine tasks, such as removing forms from set concrete and filling expansion joints with asphalt; painting, putting up steel siding; operating light equipment and vehicles, assists maintenance mechanic in repairing and maintaining automotive and mechanical machinery and equipment; performs tasks to receive, store, distribute and track material, tools, equipment and supplies.
Foreman
Responsible for performing skilled craftwork activities and for serving as a lead to skilled workers in a absence of a Job Superintendent. Duties may include: monitoring and assigning work to employees; coordinating, organizing, and overseeing construction projects and purchasing materials in the absence of a superintendent; operating and overseeing equipment operation; maintaining equipment; and, inspecting work in progress to ensure that work conforms to specifications and adheres to work schedules.
Job Superintendent
Responsible for directing the activities of construction workers and for supervising construction projects on a daily basis. Duties may include: initiating, carrying out, monitoring and assigning work to crews; working alongside crew members when needed; keeping jobs on schedule; performing inspections of projects; training employees and providing technical advice to crews; evaluating employee performance and approving weekly time cards; resolving issues with subcontractors, employees, customers, etc.; and, ensuring jobsites are in OSHA compliance.
Laborer

Skilled Construction Worker
Responsible for performing a wide variety of skilled construction activities in the areas of carpentry, concrete and structural steel erection. Duties may include: constructing, erecting, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures of wood, plywood, and wallboard, using carpenter’s hand tools and power tools, conforming to local building codes; smoothing and finishing surfaces of poured concrete floors, walls, sidewalks, or curbs to specified textures, using hand tools or power tools, including floats, trowels, and screeds; raising, placing and uniting girders, columns, and other structural-steel members to form completed structures or structure frameworks. May serve as a lead to Construction Workers or Laborers in the absence of a Job Foreman or Job Superintendent
