Central Springs Community School in Manly, Iowa, will soon have a new synthetic track surface over their current asphalt track. DSC was awarded the bid this summer and will have the project completed by late September while they work around the school’s football schedule.
Crews also tore out existing long jump and high jump areas, repoured both, and relocated the long jump. They are currently working on digging out a 3’ wide path all the way around the track to fill with rock and will have a vinyl fence outside of that.
WWA is the architectural firm on the project.
